You can build virtually any web application: SaaS dashboards, internal tools, portfolio sites, budget trackers, task managers, booking systems, e-commerce storefronts, and more. Buildra builds full-stack apps that start from TanStack Start — Next.js when you ask for it — with a Cloudflare D1 database and sign-in already wired in. You can also build cross-platform iPhone and Android apps — one description gives you a real app for both, and you can open it on your own phone by scanning a QR code with the free Expo Go app. Try it yourself on our homepage by describing an app and watching Buildra build it in real time. Yes. The source downloads as a .tar.gz on any plan. You can also connect a GitHub repository you own and have every commit the agent makes pushed to it. Buildra does not create that repository for you, and the mirror runs one way: work you push on GitHub stays on GitHub.
Yes, in two directions, and both are optional. You can start a project by importing an existing repository through the Buildra GitHub App, which only ever reads it. And you can connect a repository you own and have every commit the agent makes mirrored to it. The mirror runs one way — pushes you make on GitHub do not come back — and Buildra does not open branches or pull requests or run CI.
Web apps are TypeScript and React, starting from TanStack Start — or Next.js when you ask for it — and run on Cloudflare Workers with a Cloudflare D1 database and sign-in through better-auth. APIs with no interface start from Hono. Mobile apps are built with React Native and Expo, in TypeScript. The generated code follows production best practices including proper error handling, responsive design, and accessibility standards. Browser games are generated on Phaser. None of this is a fixed menu: the stack is a starting point, and you can ask for a different one or start from an empty project.
The preview panel runs the app itself, on the project's own machine, and updates as the agent works. You watch the app run while it is being built, rather than waiting for a deploy to find out whether it works.

Yes. Buildra publishes your app to a buildra.page address with one click, on every plan. Free sites carry a small Made with Buildra badge; sites on a paid plan don't.
Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+, HSTS preload), and Buildra's database and project storage run on Fly.io volumes that are encrypted at rest. Your project's code is kept in a private repository Buildra hosts; you can download it or mirror it to a GitHub repository you own. Your prompts and code are sent to our AI model provider, which states that it processes data in the People's Republic of China. Buildra is not SOC 2 certified. The security page lists every sub-processor and where each one runs.
Yes, on Starter and any higher plan. You connect your own domain to a published web app by adding a CNAME record that points to sites.buildra.page and a TXT record that proves you own the domain; HTTPS is issued automatically. Free sites are served from their <label>.buildra.page address.
Free users get community support through our GitHub discussions. Starter and Builder get email support with replies within 4 hours, and Pro gets premium support with replies within the hour.
