Buildra roadmap

What we’ve shipped, what’s building, and what we’re exploring next. We keep this page honest — if it’s not here, it’s probably not on our near-term radar.

Shipped

Live in production now.

  • Mobile apps (Expo / React Native)

    Shipped Aug 10, 2026

Describe a mobile app in plain English and Buildra builds a real React Native app with Expo — TypeScript, expo-router, NativeWind — that runs on iOS and Android from one codebase. It previews at phone size in the workspace, and scanning the QR code with the free Expo Go app opens it on your own phone, where every edit you make in chat shows up within seconds. Available on every plan, free and Pro.

  • Dedicated /pricing and /features pages

    Shipped Apr 21, 2026

Shipped dedicated marketing pages for pricing and features, replacing anchor jumps that dead-ended external links. Both pages include FAQ schema and proper hreflang.

  • /alternatives and /enterprise pages

    Shipped Apr 21, 2026

Launched a branded-defensive /alternatives page comparing Buildra to every major AI app builder, and a /enterprise page for procurement-intent queries — both with WebPage schema and breadcrumbs.

  • Post-signup onboarding (3-step flow)

    Shipped Apr 20, 2026

New users now see a 3-step onboarding with PostHog identify + prefill so first-session activation is measurable and the first prompt is primed.

  • Activation funnel telemetry

    Shipped Apr 20, 2026

Wired server-side PostHog flush + the full activation funnel so we can measure drop-off between signup, first prompt, first generation, and first deploy.

  • Credits meter, low-credits banner & retry UX

    Shipped Apr 20, 2026

Chat-native credits visibility: a usage meter in the composer, a low-credits banner that appears at 20 % remaining, and an auto-compact retry path so free-plan users land on a clear upgrade rather than a broken state.

Building

Actively in progress.

  • FAQ server-side rendering for AI crawlers

Moving FAQ accordion content from client-only rendering into SSR so Bing, Baidu, and LLM crawlers that don't execute JavaScript see all Q&A pairs.

  • Testimonials and social proof on homepage

Collecting customer quotes and Product Hunt reviews to ship a testimonials section. Social proof is the single biggest conversion gap on the current homepage.

  • Proper html lang/dir on non-English locales

Currently /ar /es /fr pages ship with <html lang="en" dir="ltr"> in raw HTML because the root layout is static-cached. Moving the <html> element into the locale layout to emit correct values without breaking edge caching.

Exploring

On the near-term radar.

  • Publish mobile apps to the App Store & Google Play

Today a Buildra mobile app runs on your phone through Expo Go; getting it into the stores is still on you. We've done the research on what a guided submission flow would take — builds, signing, store metadata — and it's planned. One thing won't change: you will always own your own Apple and Google developer accounts, and your app will always be published under your name, not ours.

  • Translate /pricing /features /terms to ar/es/fr

Eight new marketing pages currently ship English copy across all 4 locales. Working with translators to bring non-English locales to parity with the rest of the site.

  • Expand /use-cases/* with real generated examples

Each of 6 use-case pages sits around 410 words today. Plan is to expand each to 700+ words with a real Buildra-generated example — prompt, screenshot, deploy URL — so the content is defensible against AI-generated SEO fluff.

  • Public changelog RSS feed

Exploring an RSS feed for /changelog so build-in-public followers and tools like Feedly can track ships without opening the site.
