When you use Buildra, we collect information you provide directly: your email address, display name, and any content you enter into the AI chat or code editor. We also collect usage data automatically, including pages visited, features used, browser type, and IP address.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve Buildra
- Process your AI generation requests
- Send transactional emails (account, billing, security)
- Detect and prevent abuse or fraud
- Analyze aggregate usage to improve the product (never selling individual data)
3. Your Generated Code
Code generated through Buildra belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of any code, content, or applications you create. We may temporarily process your prompts and generated code to provide the service, but we do not use your project code to train AI models.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: infrastructure providers necessary to run the service (cloud hosting, authentication), payment processors for billing, and when required by law.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to user data is restricted to team members who need it to operate the service. We conduct regular security reviews of our infrastructure.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Project data stored in VMs is ephemeral and automatically cleaned up when projects are deleted.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can export your generated code at any time through GitHub sync. For data requests, contact us at privacy@buildra.dev.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use of Buildra after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
